Frequently asked questions
How do I start a new session in KickLab?
Open KickLab and tap the module you want to train — Field Goal, Kickoff, Punt, or Snapping. From the module screen, tap New Session to begin logging reps. Your session is saved locally to your device.
Does KickLab require an internet connection?
No. KickLab is local-first, meaning all charting and session logging works entirely on your device with no internet connection required. An internet connection is only needed to sign in with your account, restore a subscription, or sync optional cloud features.
How does Coach Mode work?
Coach Mode lets you manage multiple athlete profiles on a single device. Each profile stores its own sessions, stats, and notes independently. You can switch between profiles from the main screen.
How do I manage or cancel my KickLab Premium subscription?
KickLab Premium is billed through Apple. To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find KickLab and tap it to make changes.
Can I add video to my sessions?
Yes. KickLab supports attaching video clips to sessions for technique review and side-by-side coaching comparisons. Video is stored locally on your device.
How do I restore my purchase after reinstalling the app?
Open KickLab, navigate to the Premium or Subscription section, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID you used when you originally subscribed.
My data isn't showing up after reinstalling. Can I recover it?
KickLab stores session data locally on your device. If you deleted the app without a backup, that data cannot be recovered. To protect your data in the future, ensure iCloud Backup is enabled for your device in Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup.
How do I contact support for a billing issue?
Billing is handled entirely by Apple. For billing questions, refund requests, or subscription issues, contact Apple Support at apple.com/support or through the App Store.
